BETTER TECHNIQUE
Proper dancewear allows teachers to clearly see alignment, posture, and movement so every dancer receives the best instruction.
SAFETY FIRST
The correct shoes, secure hair, and fitted attire help prevent slips, trips, and injuries.

PROPER TECHNIQUE
Supports alignment, strength, and correct movement.
Studio-approved dance shoes are required for all enrolled dancers beginning with their first official class.
Not all dance shoes are created equal. Different brands and styles fit, support, and perform differently. To promote proper technique, protect your dancer, and preserve our dance floors, only studio-approved dance shoes are permitted in class.

THE GOOD NEWS? We've made it easy! Our Studio Store carries every approved shoe, and we'll professionally fit your dancer before their first class.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Thank you for helping us keep our dancers safe, focused, and ready to shine!
STUDIO-APPROVED SHOES REQUIRED
Only studio-approved dance shoes are permitted in class. Street shoes and outdoor footwear are never allowed on our dance floors.
BALLET BUN FOR EVERY CLASS
Hair must be in a neat ballet bun. Ponytails are permitted for Hip Hop only.
TIGHTS ARE YOUR BASE LAYER
Dance tights are the base layer and should be worn without underwear underneath. Pull-ups are permitted for dancers ages 4 and under if needed.
NO BALLET SKIRTS IN CLASS
Skirts may be worn to and from class but should be removed before class begins.
NO SWEATERS OR BAGGY CLOTHES
Extra layers aren't permitted during class. If your dancer is cold, fitted ballet sweaters or long-sleeve tops are welcome.
NO JEWELRY PLEASE
Please leave jewelry at home for safety.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Students who arrive without appropriate attire will be asked to change or observe class for that day for their safety. ​
