DRESS REHEARSAL WEEK

JUNE 8 - 13

It’s one of our favorite weeks of the entire season — Dress Rehearsal Week!

Every class turns into a mini In-Studio Performance celebration where dancers to perform, celebrate the season, and participate in our special Dress Rehearsal Week activities together.

Both recital and non-recital students are invited to participate!

Where & When: At the studio during your regular class time

Who Should Attend Dress Rehearsal: All dancers are invited to participate — including both recital and non-recital classes.

Please note, both Dress Rehearsal & Stage Rehearsal are required part of recital preparation for all recital dancers.

This is a fun, low-pressure rehearsal and celebration week where we will:

  • Run through recital dances with each class

  • Practice our recital finale

  • Celebrate dancers with our special Star Parade and special Dress Rehearsal Week Activities

  • Walk through recital details so dancers feel comfortable and prepared

  • Enjoy a fun end-of-season celebration together

Depending on the class, Dress Rehearsal Week activities may not take the full class length so we can focus on both rehearsal and celebration time.

What to Expect:

What to Wear:

Recital Students:

  • Wear your recital costume

  • Come recital-ready with hair and makeup

Non-Recital Students:

  • Non-recital dancers are invited to join the fun by dressing up in a favorite tutu or dance outfit from home! Full stage-ready hair and makeup are optional for our non-recital dancers.

We strongly recommend getting ready at home, as studio space is limited.

Our staff will carefully check each dancer’s hair, makeup, shoes, accessories, and headpiece to help make sure everyone feels performance-ready. If anything needs adjusting before recital day, we’ll send home simple instructions so families know exactly what to fix.

Please don’t stress — this is a practice week, and nothing needs to be perfect!

Parents Welcome!

Dress Rehearsal Week is a special parent participation class and we ask that at least one parent or guardian stay with each dancer for the entire class.

Parents will be included in the following:

  • Cheer on our dancers as we perform our recital dances & finale

  • Learn about important recital day information

  • Join in celebrating your dancer’s progress throughout the year with special Dress Rehearsal Week activities

It’s a wonderful chance to see how far your dancer has come and get fully ready for the big performance day!

We can’t wait to celebrate an amazing dance season together!
