FAQ
What does my child need to wear for the trial class?
You’re welcome to come in full dress code if you already have it, but there’s no need to buy anything new for the trial. Comfortable clothes your child can move in—like leggings and a t-shirt—are perfect. Hair up in a bun and barefoot works great, too!
How do I pick the right class for my child?
Start by checking our class schedule—look at your child’s age or level as a starting point. If you’re unsure, give us a call, text, or email and we’ll be happy to help you choose the best fit. We’ll also evaluate your dancer on their first day to make sure they’re in the class where they’ll feel confident and thrive.
I'm not sure which class my child will enjoy more - can I do more than one free trial?
We offer one free trial class per student so you can experience our studio and see what feels like the best fit. If you’d like to explore another class after your free trial, we offer a paid trial option at our drop-in rate of $22. If you decide to enroll in that class, your $22 goes directly toward your tuition for that class. If you choose not to enroll, it simply counts as a drop-in class — no commitment required.
How many classes should my child take?
Most of our dancers take 2–4 classes per week, depending on their age, interest, and goals. Younger dancers often start with one or two classes to build confidence and coordination, while older or more experienced students may enjoy adding more styles to challenge themselves and grow faster. We’re happy to help you find the right balance for your child’s schedule and interests!
If I decide to enroll after the trial class, what are the costs?
If you decide to join after your trial, there is a $35 annual enrollment fee per family, along with monthly tuition that starts at $78 per month, depending on the number of classes your dancer takes. Each recital dance also has a costume fee of about $105, which is collected in the fall.
Do I need to stay in the building for the trial class or can I wait in the car?
For dancers under age 5, we ask that a parent stays in the building in case of potty breaks or other quick needs. For older dancers, you’re welcome to wait in our lobby or your car — whichever is more comfortable for you!
Can I watch the trial class?
Our studio is an open-concept space with a curtain that divides our waiting room from our studio for privacy. We keep the curtain closed during most of class so dancers can focus, but don’t worry—you’ll still get a peek! Toward the end, we usually open the curtain so parents can watch and celebrate what their child has learned.
